The Second Chance Business Coalition is chaired by Jamie Dimon, CEO and Chairman of JP Morgan Chase & Co. It was founded after research from JP Morgan Chase suggested that lack of reentry hiring costs the U.S. economy between $78 Billion and $87 Billion a year in deadweight loss. The coalition functions as a resource list for companies interested in breaking into reentry hiring. More than 48 of the largest companies in the United States have joined the coalition. OutsideConnection lists jobs from almost all 48 of these companies and works to continuously add more businesses to the list.
The Reform Alliance is OutsideConnection's lead sponsor along with RECA. Reform was founded by Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Pricilla Chan-Zuckerburg, and Robert Kraft, some of the worlds greatest leaders and celebrities. Since it's founding, they've passed more than 16 laws in 10 states. Today they are our lead sponsor and investor in OutsideConnection. OutsideConnection created the first petitions for SB838, a PA senate bill that would stop punishment for minute parole violations. The petition was adopted by REFORM, garnering more than 100+ organizational signatures and helped pass SB838 on December 14th 2023.
