Senior Product Manager - Technical

Overview:
Mastercard’s SessionM is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager - Technical to join our innovative team. The Senior Product Manager - Technical will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technical solutions that enhance customer engagement and our loyalty platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive impactful results.

We partner with brands to drive marketing transformation through innovative technology and services. We are headquartered in Boston with offices around the world including Prague.

Role:

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering teams, to translate technical requirements into actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Partner with customers, the sales team, and product managers to contribute to the strategies, roadmap planning, design choices, and backlog creation necessary to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities.
  • Drive the value creation of a feature through the full stack or lead initiatives that span multiple teams and integrations.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are incorporated into product development decisions.
  • Contribute product strategy and vision, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the market.
  • Contribute to the product roadmaps and release plans, incorporating input from stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and project status to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments, leveraging insights to inform product strategy.


All About You:

  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on technical products and solutions.
  • Experience defining and building cloud-native software products as a platform at scale with a deep understanding of those platforms' capabilities and underlying technologies.
  • Proficiency in grooming user stories, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing a platform product backlog.
  • Familiarity with SQL, coupled with first-hand experience in developing against APIs.
  • Proven track record as an end-user of Developer- focused solutions, to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business requirements in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Proven track record of data-driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Boston, Massachusetts: $114,000 - $182,000 USD
